aaaAAND We’re Off and Running!
WOW! What an inspiring way to begin this week, and – dare I say – to launch into the rest of my life!
I’ve spent most of my lifetime searching for and gaining new knowledge, simply for the pleasure of learning. I’ve studied trades like Piano Repair and Locksmithing, because I found them interesting and wanted a license / certificate to say I qualified as a technician in those areas. I rose to my aunt’s challenge, and tried out for “America’s Got Talent…” Twice! I did a embarrassing job the first time; I literally shook so badly in front of the cameras, I couldn’t keep my hands on the keyboard and my voice had a crazy vibrato to it! I ‘kicked myself’ the entire long drive home, but I made a point to return the very next year and nailed it! Nope, I still didn’t “make the cut,” but I felt proud for showing up again, and I knew I had performed to the best of my ability.
I have taken on challenges like Skydiving and earning my Private Pilot’s License; I knew I would love flying, but my main reason for jumping out of an airplane was due to my fear of heights, and the fact I despise accepting any limitation I might possibly be able to conquer! I haven’t completely conquered my fear of heights – yet – but skydiving was a BLAST!
Another major theme in my life has been my fascination with the Power of The Mind and The Sub-Conscious, and how words and thoughts can shape our future and the world around us. And, this is where the “Master Key, Master Mind Alliance” [MKMMA] comes in.
I count my blessings every single day, because I truly enjoy how my life has turned out… I am happy; I am healthy; I have friends and family I love, and who love me back; I have a wife I adore, who seems to adore me right back; and, while I have yet to accomplish anything “World Changing,” I’ve achieved almost every goal and desire I have set out to achieve… Key word, almost!
*** I am extremely excited to see what will transpire over the next six months! ***
It’s been years since I’ve taken any type of concentrated training, and I suddenly find myself with Live Virtual Classes to attend; books to read; daily, weekly, and monthly assignments and tasks to complete and turn in… In fact, writing this blog is one of the weekly tasks we’ve all been asked to do, and – quite honestly – until today I have never even read a blog, let alone thought about creating one of my own! My first thoughts were “How the heck do I create a blog?”, “What will I write about?”, and “How will I write a paragraph, let alone a entire blog… I’ve got nothing to say!” But, here I am, and I guess from the length of this I’ve proven – once again – that when a task is presented and the goal is worthy enough, everything is possible and well within reach.
Today I begin a new life, and The Best is Yet To Come!
