Here I am near the end of week 5, and *wow* have I been busy! It’s been great, but wow!
It feels like a lot of reading has been added this week, which it not necessarily true, yet for me to read Ralph Waldo Emerson’s Essay III – from 1841 – on “Compensation” was quite the challenge. First, I’m not a big reader of poetry so I’m happy it only occupied page 1 of 12, but I looked up more words in the following 11 pages than I’ve done in quite a while. Not that I couldn’t get the basic idea of what was being communicated without looking those words up, but one thing this course highlights is the importance of words and knowing their ‘true’ or exact meaning.
This has been such a fast paced course – never boring! – and among other areas of growth and discovery I’ve experienced, things are really hopping in my home-based business which is one of the reasons I’ve been so busy! Such a LOVELY reason to be busy, by the way. I don’t feel as if I’m doing anything different, aside from practicing everything the MKE is teaching, but as Mark Januszewski said early on that things will begin to happen “effortlessly” within a few weeks, and I am seeing it play out in my life.
